.chk files I ran ScanDisk. It corrected some errors and created some files called file00xx.chk. What do I do with them? If your disk had major errors and you had lost important work, a data recovery expert might be able to recover the files. Normally, you can just delete them, or tell ScanDisk not to create them in the first place.
